Healing Arts Chicago offers free arts services to support mental health and wellness at the City of Chicago’s Mental Health Centers. Sheeba is 1 of 10 new artists awarded this opportunity.
The Artist Opportunity Grant (AOG) is a grant awarded by the Arizona Commission On The Arts. The grants sole purpose is to help Arizonian artist advance their careers via financial assistance.
Positivity Keychain – A mobile movement of community, encouragement and the arts. Sheeba was 1 of 8 artists chosen from Arizona and Atlanta. Each artist designed and hosted creative projects that inspired radical community connections.
"ShareLOVE.Recieve LOVE" was a textile public art display and activity that sparked shared joy between strangers. This program was imagined and hosted by Sheeba in partnerships with Tempe Culdesac, a car-free neighborhood in Arizona.
This Creative Academy grant supports collaborations between artists and businesses to activate space and engage the community. Sheeba was awarded funds to support her Community Denim Mosaic program.
This grant supported travels to Punta Gorda, Belize for a creative film project. Sheeba was one of two grant recipients to develop an individual project that linked international travels with cultural storytelling.
